Addendum: An open letter to a fake doctor
Posted by That Other Mike on 07/11/2009
Dear “Dr” Kate :
Following my previous post, I thought I’d check in, see if maybe you’d actually, you know, grown a brain cell or two in the meantime.
Unfortunately, this seems not to have happened – you’re still an ignorant douchesack. Have fun propagating your failed memes!
Love,

Well if you actually had anything to say I might consider discussing something with you. But you don’t see anything but your own self, so its impossible.
As for the insults, hey you can’t hurt me. Its obvious all you have to say is insulting things. Intellectually unfit, I suppose. Fake doctor? lolololol. you have no idea.
Go back to drinking your koolaid, stuff the rest where it don’t shine, lol

Awww, would diddums like us to call the whaaambulance?
Seriously, though, what did you actually mean? Because there are several sentences in there that really don’t make any sense whatsoever; maybe you should take some remedial English.
Lottie said
Oh, there’s plenty to say; plenty that’s already been said. You might know that if you kept up with anything other than your conspiracy theories. The thing is, sensible, intelligent people are coming to terms with the fact that there’s nothing we can say and no amount of evidence that can penetrate the thick, paranoid skulls of most Birthers. The determination to cling to and propagate lies and misinformation despite easily accessible information and facts which refute said bullshit has evolved from frustrating to disturbing, to downright funny! There’s nothing left to do by now except point and laugh.
So, yes, enjoy your Koolaid, Kate, and when you’re ready to pull your head out from where the sun doesn’t shine, let us know.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Mike,
I’ve been reading Kate’s blog, and something struck me as strange: For someone who decries personal insults like she does, she certainly engages in a lot of it herself, not to mention the irony of rebuking you for being insulting, immediately followed by her “koolaid” and “sutff it” line. I guess insults are OK when they serve her own purposes. Of course, it’s not as though doublethink doesn’t abound amongst Birthers, though.

I would disagree about doublethink – for that to be true, they’d have to be thinking in the first place…

I suppose it’s not exactly doublethink in this case, but rather plain ol’ vanilla hypocrisy.
By the way, Kate deleted my comment from her blog. Wonder what it’s like to be so predictable.
